Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM-7:00 PM or 6:30 PM-7:00 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate-level care to cardiac and vascular patients
Titrate and manage critical drips like Amio, nitro, epi, and more
Support thoracic, EP, cath lab, and structural heart programs
Monitor telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists and cardiologists
Float to units of same or lower acuity as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of experience with cardiac intermediate care patient population
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius rule
Must pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating vasoactive and cardiac medications
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula management
Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environment
