Roles & Responsibilities

• Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3, providing exceptional care to diverse patient populations
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac telemetry, titrating heparin drips as needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Adapt quickly to different units, including Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, and more
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
• Serve as a resource for nursing assistants and support staff on each unit

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
• Current and active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior neuro experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities
• Flexibility to fill scheduling gaps and accommodate rotating weekends (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Experience with titratable drips, particularly heparin
• Ability to care for a wide range of diagnoses: cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, bariatrics, trauma, and more
• Strong adaptability and quick thinking in fast-paced float pool settings
• Excellent communication skills for working with diverse teams and patients
