Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one physical therapy to home health patients in their residences
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families on exercises and home safety
Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely
Travel to patient homes within Bakersfield area (25% travel)

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Previous home health or outpatient experience preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in physical therapy evaluation and treatment
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
Comfortable with electronic documentation systems
