Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days or nights, self-scheduling, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a 28-bed PCU/MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage common drips like heparin and cardizem
Monitor hemodynamic status including CVP and arterial lines
Collaborate with a supportive team including charge nurses, nursing assistants, and allied health professionals
Float to other PCU and MedSurg units as needed, ensuring continuity of care
Titrate drips and manage ventilators with real-time training available

Qualifications

At least 1 year of PCU, Oncology, or MedSurg experience
Active RN license and driver's license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC and chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Understanding of oncology patient care and treatment protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mixed acuity unit
Strong teamwork and communication skills
