Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography and stereotactic breast biopsy procedures with precision and care
Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while ensuring comfort and safety
Evaluate images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to radiation safety protocols
Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout the imaging process
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Mammography (M) required
Texas state license as a Radiologic Technologist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Proven stereotactic breast biopsy experience (stereo exp required)
Strong attention to detail and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in mammography and stereotactic imaging techniques
Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance standards
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
