Location: Omaha, NE

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (0630-1900 and 1830-0700), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced PCU setting
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac monitoring and titration of drips
Knowledge of adult and geriatric patient care
Proficiency in electronic medical records
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
