Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population, including CHF, pneumonia, post-op surgical patients, and more.
Monitor telemetry and titrate infusions (e.g., Heparin, Bumex) as needed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Assist with floating to other departments as a "helping hand" when fully cross-trained.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Oregon (or eligible for 90-day emergency license).
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred; comfort with pediatric patients a plus.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in general medical-surgical nursing.
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
Ability to titrate intravenous drips infrequently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Adaptability to fast-paced, changing patient conditions.
