Respiratory Therapist - Inpatient (NICU/Adult)

Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: NOC shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analyze results
Set up and manage BiPAP and ventilator support
Administer nebulizer treatments and respiratory therapies
Provide conscious sedation and assist with cardioversion
Assist with intubation procedures
Care for neonatal patients in a Level 2 nursery, including Bubble CPAP management
Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Must have NICU experience with Level 2 nursery and Bubble CPAP
Ventilator skills required (PB 980, Philips V60, Respiro nics Lumis)
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ABG draws, BiPAP, ventilator setup, and nebulizer treatments
Knowledge of conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Experience with neonatal respiratory support including Bubble CPAP
Ability to assist with intubation and work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records
