Shift Type: 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; schedule includes weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Coordinate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards of nursing practice
Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately in Meditech and OBIX systems

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license in good standing
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg experience with strong critical thinking skills
Current BLS, ACLS, and HS AED certifications
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in the nursing process and primary nursing
Experience with Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis systems
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
Knowledge of Med-Surg patient care standards
Certification in BLS, ACLS, and HS AED
