Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee nursing operations and ensure quality patient care across units
Coordinate staffing assignments to maintain optimal coverage and patient safety
Serve as a clinical resource and support for nursing staff during shifts
Monitor patient flow and facilitate admissions, discharges, and transfers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes
Respond to emergencies and provide leadership in critical situations

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS strongly preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expert clinical knowledge across multiple specialties and patient populations
Proven leadership and team coordination abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
