Radiation Therapist - Oncology

Location: Silverdale, WA

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM when trained for warmup)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, including supplies and setup devices
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments, verifying treatment doses and patient positioning
Provide patient education and maintain detailed documentation in ARIA and Epic
Obtain port films and perform imaging for treatment verification

Qualifications

Hold an active Washington State Radiation Therapist license at time of submittal
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with ARIA, Varian TrueBeam, and Epic is required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ARIA and Epic EMR systems
Proficient with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
Strong patient positioning and treatment delivery skills
Effective communication and patient education abilities
