Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Float across multiple units within Zone 1, including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and others
Monitor telemetry, titrate heparin drips, and manage patients with various acuity levels
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient needs in a dynamic float pool setting

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (NLC)
Must be willing to float within a 60-mile radius of Colorado Springs city center
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Experience with cardiac drips (e.g., heparin)
Knowledge of common MS-Tele diagnoses and treatments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to varying unit protocols and patient populations
