Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), weekends and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, and more
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate heparin drips as needed
Float seamlessly within a 60-mile zone across various sister facilities in Colorado Springs area
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt to changing assignments and patient acuities with flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
Proficiency in caring for patients with cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, and post-surgical conditions
Excellent communication and adaptability for rapid reassignments
Knowledge of heparin titration and other common drips
