Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 11-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips
Titrate and manage cardiac drips (e.g., Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro)
Provide PCU-level care for overflow patients
Administer medications and treatments to adults and geriatrics with cardiac conditions
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety
Float to PCU or medical-surgical units as needed

Qualifications

BLS and ACLS certifications required
PCU experience and ability to read telemetry strips
Tele/cardiac nursing experience preferred
Epic experience preferred
First-time travelers welcome
Comfortable titrating drips

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Cardiac drip titration (Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, etc.)
PCU level care
Effective communication and teamwork
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
