Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Take charge of the long-term care unit and oversee resident care
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care treatments and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT and social worker
Provide compassionate care to residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Maintain accurate documentation in Matrix EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
Must pass background check and drug screen
Candidates must not be employed with CommonSpirit/CHI facilities within 50 miles

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of dementia, diabetes, and heart disease management
Experience with Matrix EMR is a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently as charge nurse
