Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality Med/Surg and skilled nursing care on night shift
• Assess, monitor, and manage non-critical pediatric and adult patients
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner
• Perform timely medication administration and clinical interventions per ACLS/PALS protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and continuity of care
• Float to other departments as needed to support patient census and unit needs
• Respond professionally during rapid response/crisis situations and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• Cerner experience required
• PALS required
• ACLS required
• Experience providing Med/Surg and skilled nursing care
• Comfortable caring for non-critical pediatric patients
• Night shift experience preferred and ability to float to other departments

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Cerner charting and electronic documentation skills
• Med/Surg nursing best practices and skilled nursing competencies
• Pediatric non-critical assessment and care
• Proven ACLS and PALS clinical skills
• Excellent critical thinking, prioritization, and delegation
• Effective communication and teamwork during night operations
