Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 4-hour shifts, schedule varies (days and times as needed); orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to Med/Surg and pediatric patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to facility policies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Washington
Experience or comfort caring for Med/Surg and pediatric populations
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; other certifications a plus
Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work per diem shifts reliably and professionally
Willingness to participate in orientation and facility onboarding

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and pediatric care basics
Skill in medication administration and patient assessment
Familiarity with bedside charting and electronic medical records
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
