Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Assess patient condition, monitor trends, and escalate concerns promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely communication with patients and families
Support patient discharge planning and education to promote safe transitions

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or compact privileges as applicable)
Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing (experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills may be considered)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred by facility
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and provide safe patient care on 12+ hour shifts
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills and familiarity with Med/Surg patient populations
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Patient-centered documentation and electronic health record proficiency
Ability to triage, recognize deterioration, and act quickly
Teamwork, time management, and a calm approach under pressure
