Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and establish accurate nursing diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans that improve outcomes
• Provide clinical leadership and collaborate closely with ancillary and care team members
• Maintain professional nursing standards and promote best practices in the clinical setting
• Design systems to deliver population-based care spanning infants to geriatrics
• Document care clearly and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
• Support unit quality initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience — REQUIRED
• Active Oklahoma state nursing license (Compact allowed); license must be active at time of submission
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NIH (NIHSS) certification required (links provided by facility)
• Work history and permanent address required for submission
• Former direct employees of the facility must meet non-compete timing rules before rehire

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and nursing diagnosis expertise
• Strong care planning and clinical nursing practice skills
• Leadership and effective interdisciplinary collaboration
• Experience with population-based care and lifespan-focused practice
• Comfort caring for infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics
• Proficiency in developing and implementing patient care plans
