Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care nursing for adolescent through geriatric patients in a 10-bed ICU
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive IV drips with precision and confidence
• Assess rapidly changing patient conditions and intervene promptly to stabilize and optimize outcomes
• Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to ensure continuity of care and clear communication
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary team to create and execute care plans
• Serve as a reliable resource on the unit—supporting charge and preceptor duties when asked
• Participate in trauma and rapid response situations with calm leadership and skilled clinical action

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN (must be uploaded with profile)
• Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience (required)
• EPIC experience (required)
• Arterial line experience (required)
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• Proficiency with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, IV drips and vasoactive medications
• Traveler must have own vehicle and include permanent address in profile
• Willingness to comply with facility onboarding: medical/occ health items ordered/collected/resulted within 72 hours of offer acceptance

• Ventilator management and respiratory support

• Care and troubleshooting of arterial lines and invasive monitoring
• Safe titration of vasoactive medications and IV drip management
• Critical assessment and rapid decision-making in a trauma-capable ICU
• EPIC documentation and electronic charting workflows
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced critical care settings
• Preceptor and charge nurse skills as a plus
