Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor trends, and respond to changes quickly
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage complex IV therapies safely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and other life-support equipment
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the chart
• Serve as an advocate for patients and families during stressful moments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state licensure required prior to start)
• Clinical experience or comfort working in an intensive care unit setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) strongly preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and credential verification
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and bedside monitoring expertise
• Familiarity with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Competence with IV medication administration and titration
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Excellent clinical judgment, prioritization, and multitasking in high-acuity settings
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
