Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and independence
• Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise with compassion and clinical precision
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and family education
• Participate in orientation and training to align with facility standards and pediatric-focused care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to build trust and promote adherence

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington state or eligible to obtain WA licensure
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent entry-level PT degree (preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)
• Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor's or Master's in related field considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills for musculoskeletal and developmental conditions
• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and functional mobility training
• Familiarity with pediatric care principles and family-centered therapy approaches
• Comfortable with accurate documentation and electronic medical records
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
