Physical Therapist

Location: Spokane, WA

Start Date: 04-20-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Orientation: 5-hour orientation (no break) on or starting 04/20/2026; regular shift days and specific start/end times to be confirmed with hiring manager

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered physical therapy assessments and personalized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength and function
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive patient care
Educate patients and families on home programs and safety strategies
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to integrate quickly into the team

Qualifications

Licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist in Washington state
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with detailed documentation and adherence to facility policies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions
Ability to participate in required orientation starting 04/20/2026

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Assessment and treatment planning for mobility and functional deficits
Therapeutic exercise, gait training and assistive device education
Manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities as appropriate
Clinical outcome measurement and progress tracking
Electronic medical record documentation and basic computer skills
Teamwork and effective communication with patients, families and staff
