Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical function and develop individualized therapy plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercise, manual therapy, and gait training
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document progress clearly and timely in the patient chart and EHR
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention
• Participate in orientation and team meetings to maintain high-quality care
• Adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient goals

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Washington or eligibility to obtain one
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience delivering patient-centered care in outpatient or hospital settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients of varied ages
• Comfortable using electronic health records and documenting care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Master/Bachelor in Physical Therapy
• Completion of accredited PT program and state licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
• Proficient with gait training, balance training, and assistive device recommendations
• Knowledge of functional outcome measures and progress tracking
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers in plain, encouraging language
• Team-oriented mindset with good clinical judgment and time management
