Start Date: 05-06-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 5-hour shift (schedule TBD); orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled, evidence-based physical therapy interventions to patients
Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Educate patients and families on home programs and safe mobility
Participate in orientation and training activities as required

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license for California (required)
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree (preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and ages
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Previous clinical experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting is a plus

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and manual therapy skills
Knowledge of therapeutic exercise prescription and mobility training
Familiarity with patient documentation standards and outcomes measurement
Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient response
Good time management and prioritization for efficient part-time coverage
