Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on care and therapeutic exercise to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Participate in orientation and training to maintain consistent, evidence-based practices

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California Physical Therapist license (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in outpatient pediatrics or specialty rehab settings is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Ability to document accurately and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master's in Physical Therapy considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training
• Strong clinical assessment and differential diagnosis abilities
• Comfortable with documentation in an electronic medical record system
• Good time management and organizational skills for efficient caseload handling
• Empathy and strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and families
