Start Date: 05-08-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 5-hour shift; exact days and start/end times to be determined. Orientation required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based physical therapy care for pediatric patients
Perform thorough evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions such as gait training, strengthening, and functional mobility training
Educate patients and families to support continuity of care at home
Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in orientation and training to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California (required)
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy preferred
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Pediatric experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Availability for orientation as part of onboarding

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s in Physical Therapy acceptable

Knowledge & Skills

Strong pediatric assessment and intervention skills
Experience with therapeutic exercise, gait training, and mobility techniques
Skilled at patient- and family-centered education
Proficient documentation and basic EMR navigation
Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities
Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient/clinic environment
