Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 5-hour shifts (schedule varies; orientation required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess pediatric patients to determine functional limitations and therapy goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that improve mobility and independence
Deliver hands-on interventions, therapeutic exercises, and family-centered education
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high-quality care

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist license (required)
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
Experience working with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master's or entry-level degree considered with licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric assessment and treatment techniques
Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise prescription
Gait training and mobility assistance
Patient- and family-centered care approaches
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Strong teamwork and interdisciplinary communication
