Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients thoroughly to identify functional limitations and set meaningful goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
• Deliver hands-on care and therapeutic exercise to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Document progress clearly and timely in the patient record to support continuity of care
• Communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention strategies
• Participate in orientation and team meetings to maintain high-quality service delivery

Qualifications

• Active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Washington (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; related graduate degree considered
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or willing to obtain
• Comfortable with outpatient evaluations, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Professional, dependable, and able to pass background and credentialing checks

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise prescription, and manual therapy
• Knowledge of gait training, balance retraining, and functional mobility strategies
• Familiarity with outcome measures and goal-oriented care planning
• Comfortable using electronic medical records for documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
