Location: Sacramento, CA

Start Date: 04-30-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed with scheduling). Orientation required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered evaluation and treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and document progress clearly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on home programs and preventative strategies
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the facility's patient records
Participate in orientation and training to uphold clinical standards and safety

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in California or ability to obtain licensure
Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate or relevant clinical degree)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
Compassionate communicator who can engage patients and families
Previous outpatient experience preferred but motivated new grads encouraged to apply

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in musculoskeletal assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
Familiarity with outpatient documentation standards and EHR systems
Ability to develop individualized, measurable treatment goals
Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse patient populations
Time management and organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently
