Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 5-hour shift (schedule to be determined; orientation required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patient mobility, strength, and functional needs to create individualized care plans
Deliver hands-on and evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help patients progress
Document patient encounters clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and safe home exercise programs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in California (required)
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Outpatient orthopedic or pediatric rehab experience preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques
Gait training and functional mobility interventions
Skilled documentation and familiarity with EHR systems
Clinical reasoning and outcome measurement
Patient and family education skills
Team collaboration and time management
