Roles & Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction to improve patients' physical and functional abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans that restore and promote optimal function, wellness, and quality of life
Prevent progression of impairments and functional limitations through early intervention and patient education
Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely
Collaborate with the department director and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Maintain and use physical therapy equipment safely and responsibly; recommend repair or replacement when needed
Provide clear education and communication to patients and families to support recovery and self-care
Uphold Great Falls Clinic service standards, dress code, and policies while contributing to a positive, team-focused culture

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Montana (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (required)
Prior experience within the specific scope of practice preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and establish effective working relationships with patients and staff
Dexterity and physical ability to perform job duties, including extended computer work (up to four hours uninterrupted) and use of office equipment

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy principles, practices, standards, and techniques
Familiarity with use and maintenance of physical therapy equipment and safety requirements
Skill in preparing reports, correspondence, and maintaining accurate patient care records
Ability to identify problems and recommend practical resolutions
Comfort evaluating utilization statistics and other operational data
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward team-based care
