Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations and assessments to create meaningful treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patient function
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and rehab staff to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Document clinical progress and treatment plans clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety and long-term recovery strategies
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care to support successful transitions
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture by mentoring support staff and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts or eligible for licensure
• Clinical experience in physical therapy settings preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
• Comfortable with patient evaluations, treatment planning, and progress documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for family and team interactions
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master's or Bachelor's in related field considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Manual therapy techniques and use of therapeutic modalities
• Gait training, balance and mobility interventions
• Skilled clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
• Commitment to patient safety, infection control and HIPAA best practices
