Roles & Responsibilities

Assess pediatric patients to identify functional strengths and challenges
Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and participation
Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions using evidence-based approaches
Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to set meaningful goals
Document progress clearly and communicate outcomes to caregivers and clinicians
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist license (or eligible to obtain)
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) and background checks as required
Clean professional references and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or OTD, or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and adaptive strategies
Skilled in therapeutic techniques for pediatric activities of daily living
Proficient with assessment tools and individualized goal setting
Comfortable coaching caregivers and providing home program recommendations
Good organizational skills and clear clinical documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
