Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days, 5-hour shifts (exact start/end times to be confirmed), orientation included

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with patient intake, vitals, and clinical documentation
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
Support patient flow by coordinating appointments and following up on care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate updates to the care team
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and uphold clinic standards
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain competencies

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; MA certification preferred
Active Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training is a plus
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass background and any facility-required checks

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with basic clinical procedures and taking vital signs
Comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients and the care team
Ability to follow protocols, maintain confidentiality, and prioritize tasks
