Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to walk-in clinic patients, performing patient assessments and taking vital signs with accuracy and compassion
Triage patient calls and in-clinic presentations to prioritize care and ensure patient safety
Manage medication refills and complete prior authorizations to keep patients on track with their treatments
Perform clinical documentation thoroughly to maintain high-quality charts and support provider decision-making
Collaborate closely with providers, RNs, coordinators and clinical managers to coordinate patient care
Give clear direction to CNAs and schedulers and support the interdisciplinary team to achieve efficient clinic flow
Adhere to state and federal licensure standards and complete required continuing education to maintain clinical competency

Qualifications

Current Montana LPN license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience with triage, medication refills, and prior authorization processes
Strong clinical documentation skills and ability to follow established protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to take direction from supervisors and lead support staff
