Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem availability, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support throughout the day
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to implement care plans
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting patient dignity
Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

Current and active LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (must be valid)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable
Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach to care

Education

LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
RN: Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program (if applying as RN)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
Comfortable with electronic charting and accurate documentation
Knowledge of rehab and long-term care best practices
Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Friendly bedside manner and effective communication with patients and families
