Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
• Conduct regular patient assessments and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Support rehabilitation plans and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Collaborate with nursing colleagues, therapists, and support staff to coordinate excellent care
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and care planning to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) — must be valid for Massachusetts practice
• Comfortable working the 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative care team
• Prior long-term care or rehab experience is a plus
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program for Licensed Practical Nurses
• ADN or BSN for Registered Nurses (as applicable to the role applied for)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and resident-centered care
• Medication administration and accurate charting practices
• Basic assessment skills and ability to escalate changes in condition
• Familiarity with rehabilitation-focused care and support of ADLs
• Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
