Location: Mount Olive, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift (scheduled as needed)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within the LPN scope
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and promptly report changes to the care team
Assist with activities of daily living and support safe, dignified patient care
Maintain clear, timely documentation and uphold infection control standards
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; eligible to practice in North Carolina
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous LPN experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar setting preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current LPN licensure (state-specific)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and accurate vital signs monitoring
Medication administration and precise charting
Time management and prioritization during extended shifts
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
