Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, competent nursing care to assigned residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform thorough assessments and document patient status clearly
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to create excellent care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
- Support a positive, resident-centered environment that promotes dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — Pennsylvania license preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic nursing procedures, and patient assessments
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic patient care: vital signs, wound care, ADL assistance
- Clinical observation and timely reporting of changes in condition
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
