Location: High Point, NC

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift; specific days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care with attention to dignity and comfort
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform routine assessments and monitor patient status, reporting changes promptly
Document care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and self-care
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (valid in the state where you will practice)
Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain it upon hire)
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
Experience in direct patient care settings is a plus (long-term care, rehab, or acute care)

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic IV/PO knowledge
Vital signs, basic assessments, and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic health record workflows
Wound care basics and infection control principles
Patient education and family communication skills
Time management, prioritization, and delegation awareness
