Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily recovery
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and communicate them promptly to the care team
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record/EHR
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Educate patients and families in a friendly, understandable way about care and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfort and ability to work 12.5-hour clinical shifts as required by the facility
• Clear background check and any required health screenings/vaccinations per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program (diploma or certificate)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and monitoring
• Skilled in patient assessments, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures
• Experience with accurate charting and electronic health records (EHR)
• Good prioritization, time management, and multitasking in a busy clinical setting
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
