Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition accurately
• Communicate observations and concerns clearly to the nursing team and supervisors
• Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents and report safety issues promptly
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through consistent, kind care

Qualifications

• Current LNA license in New Hampshire or Vermont as applicable
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant program
• Comfortable providing personal care and working directly with residents
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening per facility policy
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain if required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA/nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical care skills including vital signs and ADL assistance
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Patient-centered communication and documentation skills
• Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize resident needs
