Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support patient mobility and safety, using proper transfer techniques
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and interventions
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Uphold infection control practices and facility policies to protect patients and staff
• Contribute to a positive, respectful care environment that centers on patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) in New Hampshire or ability to obtain prior to start
• Valid basic CPR certification as required by the facility
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and collaborating with a diverse care team
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus but not required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed LNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care skills and empathy for residents
• Basic clinical skills such as taking vitals, feeding, bathing, and mobility support
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during a busy night shift
• Teamwork mindset and willingness to learn within a multidisciplinary team
