Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents and support their daily needs
Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Observe residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Accurately document care, observations, and resident interactions in the chart
Support a safe, clean, and home-like environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the care team to deliver person-centered care
Promote resident dignity, independence, and social engagement every shift

Qualifications

Active GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or state equivalent — required
Comfort and experience working in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred
Basic competency in resident care, mobility assistance, and ADLs
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

Resident-centered care principles and support for activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital signs monitoring and recognizing changes in condition
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Accurate documentation and attention to detail
Compassionate communication with residents and families
Teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude under fast-paced conditions
