Location: Brooklyn Pk, MD

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varied days (as scheduled), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Document care, observations, and interventions accurately and promptly
Support mealtimes and assist with feeding as needed
Work as part of the care team to promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment

Qualifications

Current GNA certification required
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working night shifts and supporting geriatric residents
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required
Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus

Education

GNA certification required
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident dignity
Basic vital signs and observational skills
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Good communication and teamwork with clinical staff and families
Basic charting and documentation skills
