Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly
Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
Support safe transfers and fall-prevention practices to protect residents
Help create a comfortable, respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence

Qualifications

GNA classification listed (Class: GNA) — current Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification or equivalent
Ability to work 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shifts on a per diem basis
Demonstrated compassion and strong communication skills with residents and team members
Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, health screening, and background checks

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
GNA certification (Class: GNA) required or preferred as listed

Knowledge & Skills

Basic knowledge of geriatric care principles and resident safety
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
Good observational skills and clear documentation habits
Team-oriented attitude and ability to follow care plans and direction from nursing staff
Basic infection control awareness and adherence to facility protocols
