Location: Baltimore, MD

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift; specific days not specified in posting)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing and feeding
Take and record vital signs and observe residents for changes in condition
Document care accurately and communicate important updates to the nursing team
Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Engage residents in meaningful interactions and help maintain their dignity
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
CPR/BLS certification required or must be obtained upon hire
Meets Maryland state requirements for nursing assistants or GNA registration
Comfortable working the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Strong communication skills, compassion, and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to pass required background check and any facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of personal care and assistance techniques for older adults
Basic skills in taking and recording vital signs
Infection control and safety awareness when caring for residents
Accurate and timely documentation skills
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and families
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
