Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and radiographic examinations across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatric patients
• Operate CT equipment safely and accurately, including CT angiography studies
• Ensure continuity and quality of patient care through clear communication and thorough documentation
• Assist with receptionist duties as needed to support department workflow and patient arrivals
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to prioritize patient safety and imaging quality
• Maintain equipment, follow radiation safety protocols, and participate in quality assurance activities
• Demonstrate professionalism and cultural sensitivity while working in a close-knit community

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
• CT registered or CT board eligible
• Minimum two years post-graduate radiologic experience in a hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program (see Education)
• Ability to work independently and adapt to variable workloads
• Computer experience required; reception/desk duties experience a plus
• Must complete required immunizations or provide acceptable titers (Hep A, Hep B, Varicella, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Tdap, Polio) prior to travel
• Successful national/criminal background check, 10-panel drug screen within 90 days, OIG/SAM/sex offender checks and competency checklist required for onboarding
• Traveler must be fully credentialed and cleared by the YKHC recruiter before travel; provide photo ID, SSN card, professional license/certification, education/transcripts, and references

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging and CT angiography techniques
• Strong radiography fundamentals and patient positioning skills
• Patient care skills across all ages, with sensitivity to cultural and community needs
• Familiarity with radiology information systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask, triage requests, and provide receptionist support when needed
• Attention to detail for documentation, infection control, and safety procedures
