Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and X-rays for a wide range of cases including trauma and stroke
• Coordinate IV contrast administration per protocol, working closely with nursing when IVs are started elsewhere
• Operate and optimize GE 64-slice CT equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Document studies and chart in Epic EMR and store images in Fuji Synapse PACS accurately and promptly
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to after-hours and weekend requests
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety and infection control practices
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and ED/inpatient teams to ensure excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist — ARRT (CT) required
• Active Kansas radiologic technologist license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (experience performing CT scans and IV contrast administration preferred)
• Comfortable working evening/night hours and participating in weekend/holiday coverage
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet a 60-mile radius requirement (DL must be submitted)

Education

• ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• Active Kansas radiologic technologist license (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skill with CT scanning protocols and patient positioning
• Familiarity with IV contrast workflows and safety practices (coordinate with ED/IP when needed)
• Experience using Epic EMR for charting and Fuji Synapse PACS for image archiving
• Hands-on experience with GE CT scanners (GE 64-slice preferred)
• Ability to manage trauma and stroke imaging efficiently under time-sensitive conditions
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams
